Academic advising is more than just scheduling and registration!

The academic advising partnership is an ongoing process of clarification and re-evaluation of academic goals and plans with active participation between you and your academic advisor.

AEA advisors are committed to providing you with information about majors and minors, campus resource referrals, events and workshops, and additional opportunities that help enhance your academic experience as a student who is declared Exploratory, referred to Exploratory, or part of the Undergraduate Success Program (USP).

Ask your advisor questions and discuss your academic experience, interests, and goals. While you and your AEA advisor will meet and discuss your academic interests, degree and academic progress, it is your responsibility as the student to check your degree progress, understand your current standing in fulfilling requirements, and connect with campus advising offices and partners for ongoing guidance.
